TrainSplit is looking for customers to film short videos on real journeys or at train stations. If you take part and your content meets the brief, we say thank you with TrainSplit travel credit.
This is a voluntary promotional opportunity, not an employed job. There is no application process, no interview, no obligation to take part, and no obligation to keep taking part once you have.
This promotion is run by Raileasy Ltd, trading as TrainSplit, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 03067728) whose registered office is 10 Station Parade, High Street Wanstead, London E11 1QF.
By submitting content, you agree to these terms.
This promotion is capped at 20 successful submissions in total, one per registered customer.
You can take part if you are:
You cannot take part if you are an employee, contractor or immediate family member of Raileasy or any company involved in running this promotion.
We do not ask you to book any specific journey, travel at any specific time, or buy anything in order to take part.
The creative brief sets out what we are looking for: format, rough length, the kind of moment we want to capture, and how to send it to us.
The promotion is limited to one submission per person with a closing date on 30 September 2026.
Your safety comes first, and so does everyone else’s. When filming you must:
If your content shows unsafe behaviour, we will not be able to use it and we won’t be able to offer train credit.
Please avoid making members of the public the main focus of your video. If someone is prominently featured or easily identifiable, you should obtain their permission before submitting the footage.
Do not film children under 18 unless you are their parent or guardian and you are happy for the footage to be used publicly.
If you are not sure whether someone has consented, please do not send that footage.
Your content must be your own original work, filmed by you or by someone filming at your direction with their agreement.
Your content must not:
We want this to be clear and fair, so here is the full list. Content will not qualify for travel credit if it:
That is the complete list. We will not withhold travel credit because we simply prefer one video to another, because we decide not to publish it, or because we change our marketing plans.
If we cannot accept your content, we will tell you which of the six points above applies and, where it can be fixed, give you the chance to resubmit.
If your content qualifies, you will receive £25 of TrainSplit travel credit within 10 working days of us confirming acceptance.
Your travel credit:
You receive the travel credit for taking part with content that meets the brief. It is not payment for services, wages or a fee, and it does not depend on how the content performs, whether we publish it or how many people see it.
You do. You keep full ownership of everything you film. You are not signing your work over to us.
By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, copy, edit, adapt, subtitle and share it for TrainSplit marketing purposes, including on our social channels, website, email and paid advertising, for three years from the date you submit it.
Your content will be shared as short form video clips on the TrainSplit TikTok and Instagram accounts.
Because the licence is non-exclusive, you are completely free to post the same content on your own channels, submit it elsewhere, or use it in your own portfolio. We would love it if you did tag us, but you do not have to.
We may edit your content for length, clarity or format. We will not edit it in a way that misrepresents what you said or puts words in your mouth.
You confirm that you have the right to grant this licence and that using your content will not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Life changes, and you can change your mind. Email us at customer.support@trainsplit.com and we will take your video down from our channels within 14 days and never use it again, no reason needed and your travel credit stays yours.
Taking part does not create an employment relationship, a worker relationship, a contract of service, an agency arrangement, a partnership or a joint venture between you and TrainSplit.
To be explicit about what that means in practice:
Travel credit received under this promotion is a promotional incentive to consumers. If you are taking part through a business, or if you are unsure how the credit should be treated in your circumstances, please take your own advice. You are responsible for any tax arising on anything you receive.
We will process your name, contact details and submitted content in order to run this promotion, issue your credit and use your content under the licence in section 9. Our lawful basis is the contract formed by these terms and, for marketing use of your image, your consent.
You can withdraw consent for use of your image at any time using section 10.
Your data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy:
https://trainsplit.com/privacy
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Taking part in this promotion does not sign you up to any additional marketing. You can manage your email preferences or unsubscribe entirely at any time using the link in any email from us, and doing so does not affect any credit you have already earned.
We may need to change these terms or end the promotion, for example for legal, operational or safety reasons. If we do, we will publish the change and give reasonable notice.
Any content submitted before a change takes effect will be assessed under the terms that applied when you submitted it, and any credit already earned will be honoured.
We are responsible for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking these terms, where that loss is a foreseeable result of the breach.
We are not responsible for your travel costs, your equipment, or anything that happens while you are filming. You take part at your own risk and you are responsible for your own safety and conduct.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Email customer.support@trainsplit.com and we will respond within 5 working days. If you are unhappy with a decision about your submission, say so in that email and a member of the team will review it.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
